Our visitors can gain insight into the extraordinary history of the castle quarter through thematic walks. During our tours, you can learn about the histories of the district's ecclesiastical buildings and gain insight into their working conditions.
Museum
Since its establishment in 1985, the Blessed Gisela Archdiocesan Collection has been the guardian of ecclesiastical artworks, episcopal legacies, and royal donations. As diligent stewards, we oversee the historical and artistic heritage of the archdiocese.
Wine Dinner
The Veszprém Archdiocese Winery currently produces excellent quality wines on two vineyards: in the Káli Basin,in Mindszentkálla, and in the Balatonfüred-Csopak Wine Region at Felsőörs. Members of the new wine families from the 2022 vintage will be available from May 2023.
Organ Concerts
The organ located in Saint Michael's Cathedral is a Rieger instrument built in 1910, renovated and expanded in 2023. The instrument can serve the joy and salvation of the faithful in a worthy manner. The organ is played by Attila Dankos, the musical director and organist of the Cathedral.
