Grand Provost's House

On the site of the building, there were previously two residential houses. Marton Padányi Bíró, the Grand Provost, constructed the Baroque-style house that can still be seen today in 1741, replacing these two houses. Like many other buildings in the castle, it was affected by a fire, and it acquired its present form during reconstruction in 1901. It has served an ecclesiastical governance function for a long time, and as part of the current renovation, it will be refurbished accordingly.

Renovation works are still ongoing in the building.
