Since 2021, the historic-scale development of the Veszprém Castle Quarter has been underway. The renewal is timely, as the last comprehensive reconstruction in this area was around 250 years ago, in the Baroque era.

A nagyszabású projekt hozzájárul mind a helyi közösség, mind pedig a Veszprém városa regionális szerepének és nemzetközi ismertségének megerősödéséhez. A vár rekonstrukciója egyszerre hitéleti, turisztikai és munkahelyteremtő beruházás. A munkálatok során napi szinten mintegy 450 ember dolgozott 18 műemléki épület, 35 ezer négyzetméter épített és 10 ezer négyzetméter szabad terület megújításán.

The project is overseen by Castellum Asset Management Directorate, established as part of the Veszprém Archdiocese for the purpose of heritage conservation, development, and maintenance.
