Imagine a mysterious investigation that takes us back to the 18th century. When Franz Xaver Bucher painted the scene of Prince Imre's legendary vows on the vault of the Franciscan church, he did not depict a random statue on the altar in front of the prince - he was painting the Madonna of the altar in the cathedral's lower church. It is noticeable, however, that the statue is completely snow-white.<\/p>

Today, only traces of this white colour can be seen if you examine the statue very carefully. However, careful observation leads the tracker further: the wood is covered with a layer of white polished to a porcelain finish.<\/p>

The mosaic of the mystery has slowly been pieced together from photographs of the past and from Iv\u00e1n \u00c1d\u00e1m's photo album. Once the statue was dressed like a queen: it was given a white robe, Mary and the baby Jesus had a crown on their heads. Tiny clues lead us back to the past, from where the mysteries of this statue beckon us to discover them again and again.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
