Autumn sunshine and fresh air usually greet visitors to the historic centre of Veszpr\u00e9m, who arrive full of curiosity. The unadulterated autumnal atmosphere and the cool morning breeze can provide a special backdrop for a stroll through the town steeped in a thousand years of history. The city combines historical heritage with modern cultural opportunities in a unique way, which will be an unforgettable memory for all visitors.\u00a0<\/p>

The Bir\u00f3-Giczey House exhibitions and the WIP guided tours<\/strong><\/p>

One of the most exciting events of the day will be the \"Work in Progress\" fair. Visitors will be able to admire the St. Michael's Cathedral, the archaeological artefacts of the castle quarter and random spaces that are only accessible depending on the works. The chamber exhibition in the Bir\u00f3-Giczey House is particularly<\/em> striking, with the Cathedral's putto sculptures and the wooden sculpture Madonna with Baby Jesus offering a deeper insight into the world of Baroque art. The exhibition offers a great opportunity to take visitors back to a special period in Hungarian history.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Not a chapel in my head exhibition<\/strong><\/p>

This exhibition explores the life of the canons and the workings of the Veszpr\u00e9m Chapter. Among other things, you can see the stallum used in the cathedral and the word \"chantry\" is given a special meaning. The exhibition shows how these historical figures became the guardians of Veszpr\u00e9m.<\/p>

Archaeological exhibition in the attic<\/strong><\/p>

In the attic of the Bir\u00f3-Giczey House, a unique archaeological exhibition gives an insight into the excavations and discoveries of the Veszpr\u00e9m castle quarter. Among the objects on display are a fragment of a prehistoric ceramic vessel decorated with a face and traces of a unique 17th century burial. This exhibition also explains the practical aspects of archaeological work, details of the excavations and the conservation process.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
