Why did St Stephen found a bishopric here? How did Veszpr\u00e9m Castle become the castle of the queens? And what did it mean in the symbolism of power? The guide will take us on a journey through the legacy of St Stephen: the founding of bishoprics, the tradition of coronation ceremonies and the centuries of transformation of the main cathedral.<\/p><p><strong>Secrets of the Franciscan Church:<\/strong><\/p><p>The other highlight of our walk is the present-day St Stephen's Church, formerly the Franciscan Church, where wall excavations and restoration work is ongoing. What does the church wall tell us about its architecture? How did it survive the vicissitudes of time, how did the decisions of kings and princes shape our history?
