Most Honorable Sir and Gracious Madam!<\/p>

Esteemed Reader, noble Wanderer who peruses these lines! What wondrous times do I live in! Not so long ago, I strolled among the distinguished lords, clad in my baroque ceremonial attire adorned with golden braids, along the grand streets of Veszpr\u00e9m Castle. Yet in the blink of an eye, I find myself in a different present. The towers of the cathedral stand guard as ever, the palaces gleam with renewed splendor, but the winds of time have carried new marvels to this place! And what brilliant sciences, what splendid exhibitions await those who still cherish the reverence of the past in their hearts!<\/p>

I beseech you, do not take me for a whimsical dreamer if, upon reading these words, you encounter an account so peculiar that it might be deemed fit only for the superstitious tales of hauntings. Yet, I swear upon all honor and noble virtue that what I recount here is pure truth, not illusion or nightmare.<\/p>

In but a single moment, fate played a curious trick upon me: from the baroque splendor of Veszpr\u00e9m\u2019s sacred castle, the hand of the Lord cast me into another age. Time, that unfaithful lover, has left its marks upon the face of the city. Though the colors of the castle\u2019s palaces and houses are freshly renewed, strange horseless carriages glide along the streets like ghostly chariots, and people dress in unfamiliar garments. But as the first terror of my soul subsided, my heart began to beat faster: the castle still stands, and within it, like a radiant pearl, lies the Bir\u00f3-Giczey House, where memories of the past, like loyal courtly servants, quietly await their visitors.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Reassuring myself that the people of this age may not have entirely forsaken the wisdom of their ancestors, I stepped into this noble building, and what I found there was akin to a heavenly vision. On the upper floor, a magnificent ceiling fresco immediately captured my gaze. Oh, what an extraordinary sight, rivaling the heavens themselves! The frescoed hall\u2019s ceiling painting seems as if it were born from the dreams of the artist. Angels, with their flowing robes, sigh in the heights, their gazes bridging the past and the future alike. Blessed be the inspiration that guided the hand that created this wondrous image! How many canons must have rested their weary minds upon it? How many destinies have tread the upper chambers and corridors?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Tov\u00e1bb haladv\u00e1n, szemeim egy kegyes Madonna-szoborra esnek, kit karj\u00e1n a kis J\u00e9zussal \u00e1br\u00e1zolt a j\u00e1mbor m\u0171v\u00e9sz. E szobor a „Kamraki\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1s” egyik \u00e9kess\u00e9ge, s bizony mondom, ki e l\u00e1tv\u00e1nyra tekint, sz\u00edv\u00e9ben b\u00e9kess\u00e9get lel. Mintha a Sz\u0171zanya mosolya feloldan\u00e1 e vil\u00e1g minden b\u00faj\u00e1t \u00e9s gondj\u00e1t! S ha mindezen csod\u00e1k ut\u00e1n a vend\u00e9g k\u00edv\u00e1ncsis\u00e1ga m\u00e9g nem csillapult, akkor aj\u00e1nlom korg\u00f3 gyomr\u00fa figyelm\u00e9be a „Work in Progress” vezetett v\u00e1rs\u00e9t\u00e1t. Itt nem csup\u00e1n a barokk kori pomp\u00e1r\u00f3l \u00e9s a m\u0171v\u00e9szek munk\u00e1j\u00e1r\u00f3l esik sz\u00f3, hanem arr\u00f3l is, mik\u00e9nt var\u00e1zsolj\u00e1k vissza a mesterek Veszpr\u00e9m v\u00e1rnegyed\u00e9nek eredeti f\u00e9ny\u00e9t. \u00cdm, a jelen kora is tudja, mit \u00e9r a m\u00falt \u00f6r\u00f6ks\u00e9ge, s tisztelettel, al\u00e1zattal igyekszik visszaadni azt, mit egykoron az \u0151seink megteremtettek!<\/p>

Oh, gracious reader, if you find yourself within the sacred walls of Veszpr\u00e9m Castle, seeking the imprints of history\u2019s ages, do not miss visiting this house, where past and present blend so beautifully\u2014just as the master baroque painters once crafted their stunning frescoes. And should you happen to see a gentleman clad in peculiar attire, gazing in wonder as he runs his fingers along an old stone wall or a worn parchment, do not fear him: it may well be me.<\/p>
