The late Baroque residential house, constructed in 1772 by Canon Istv\u00e1n Giczey, resulted from the merger of two previously developed plots. The U-shaped building, richly decorated inside, features landscape paintings on the wall panels of its main hall. Various mythological scenes adorn the tondos above the cornice, while the ceiling depicts the chariot of Phaethon. In the centre, there is a scene with both ancient and Christian references, while the ceiling of the canon's bedroom showcases putti representing the four sciences: theology, literature, astrology, and geography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
