This year has been a year of discoveries and encounters in the Biró-Giczey House and the renewed castle district. In the spring, the year kicked off with a series of walks in the neighbourhood of St. Michael's Cathedral, where visitors were given a deeper insight into the past of the historic Veszprém Castle. In the summer, the archaeological exhibition in the attic was a special attraction, with special finds - such as the St Stephen's Denarius - revealing not only the secrets of the past but also the excitement of research. The "Chamber Exhibition" presented a brief but all the more interesting period in the 1000-year life of St Michael's Cathedral.

The end of the year is always a time for reflection, thanksgiving and looking to the future. This is also the case here at the Biró-Giczey House in Veszprém, where this year we have been able to participate in many special events, exhibitions and memorable moments. Allow us to take a look back over the past year and share with you the most important information about the upcoming festive season.
Spring has once again welcomed everyone to our garden, which visitors enjoyed as an island of peace. The garden's bust of Mary Magdalene of Bódi has become a favourite place for contemplation, tranquillity and spiritual recharging. This year, we also launched our puzzle-solving programme with great success, with adults and children alike enjoying the opportunity to discover details of the historical past.

January 2025 - A Short Break
Please be informed that Biró-Giczey House will be closed in January 2025. We will start the New Year with a short break to return in February with fresh energy and new plans. In the meantime, we will continue to innovate to bring you even more exciting experiences and attractions for the coming year.
