In an environment worthy of the intimate moments of the holiday, in the heart of the Veszprém Castle District, we welcome all those who wish to relax, recharge and share experiences. The Biró-Giczey House and its baroque garden are open to children and adults alike during this period: we offer relaxation, quiet reflection and playful fun for all members of the family - to make Easter a truly memorable one.
Children will be treated to special Easter surprises: Easter-themed colouring books and stories, including biblical ones, as well as charming and thought-provoking ones.
Tales and stories in the garden
We've also thought of the little ones: in the quiet of the Baroque Garden, they can listen to the following selection of stories, which tell stories of love, faith and hope in a playful yet profound way:
- "The Three Trees" - the dream of three trees and the quiet story of their fulfilment
- "The story of the Easter egg" - the legend of a special egg
- "George and the balloon" - a story with playfulness and lessons
- "Bible story" - Easter message for children
- "What was the moment of resurrection like" - reflection on the resurrection
Exhibitions at the Biró-Giczey House
- Chamber exhibition - Baroque monuments of the Cathedral
- Fresco Room - Our Baroque Heritage
- My head is not a chapel - exhibition and puzzle game
- Archaeological finds - special attractions in the attic
TheBaroque garden is especially beautiful this time of year in spring: flowering shrubs, birdsong and a bust of Mary Magdalene of Bódi evoke a time of peace and tranquillity. It is an ideal place for relaxation and contemplation.
