The late Baroque residential house, constructed in 1772 by Canon István Giczey, resulted from the merger of two previously developed plots. The U-shaped building, richly decorated inside, features landscape paintings on the wall panels of its main hall. Various mythological scenes adorn the tondos above the cornice, while the ceiling depicts the chariot of Phaethon. In the centre, there is a scene with both ancient and Christian references, while the ceiling of the canon's bedroom showcases putti representing the four sciences: theology, literature, astrology, and geography.
A Biró–Giczey Ház a veszprémi várnegyed barokk ékszerdoboza, ahol négy különleges kiállítás kapott helyet. Ezek közül a Bogáncs és liliom – Magdolnák virágai című tárlat elnyerte Az Év Kiállítása 2025 díjat. Az épületben ajándékbolt és mosdó is várja a látogatókat, valamint innen indulnak a közkedvelt vezetett várséták, amelyek Veszprém legszebb történelmi helyszíneit mutatják be.
