Exhibitions of the Biró-Giczey House:Tracing the past in the heart of Veszprém

The history of Veszprém is much more colourful and mysterious than many people think. The Biró-Giczey House is one of the city's most exciting places to explore, inviting you on a journey through time and space. But it is not just a place for exhibitions, it is also a place for mysteries and interactive games, where visitors can discover the city's past in a unique way. One of the most exciting challenges is the "Angel Stairs " game, where angels and symbols of the Christian faith lead the way to the solution.

Some of the exhibitions offer a glimpse into life in the Middle Ages and there are also a good number of objects from the city's Baroque heritage. The various artworks and installations not only enhance the visual experience, but can also inspire deeper spiritual reflection.

The exhibits include works by masters who have celebrated the historical importance of the city. Handicraft masterpieces and period utensils offer a glimpse into how people lived in Veszprém.

We also offer you our Work in Progress tours, where you can learn more about the ongoing renovation of the castle quarter.
